(Actually I can't work out whether it's meant to be a good wine or a bad wine - I, personally, adore bears so consider winding up at home with one a definite joy (give or take the odd, possibly fatal, mauling)!!
When I first read this, I thought it said 'beer', not bear!!
Beer would have been a let down if you were expecting a nice red.
The wine was Casillero del Diablo Merlot 2005 Chile, widely available.
The thought of it made me giggle, but that particular wine expert, (whose name I can't remember, but he has wild, blond hair) is barking. Totally barking.

Sounds like one I've got to try!

I'd probably love his wines!
I too read it as "beer" - I think I'd be rather confused if I went out to buy a hamster and discovered that I'd mistakenly picked up a beer...
I'd like to be able to say it was my bad handwriting...
